You may read this site, link to it, and quote it with attribution. We try hard to be accurate and we publish how we know what we know. What follows is the rest of it.
Every figure is something we observed in a named source and dated. Where our record is incomplete, the page says so rather than implying the thing did not happen — and our measured coverage is published on the methodology page.
Placement is never sold. No fund can pay to appear, to rank higher, or to have its observed record altered.
That the data is complete or error-free. We catch roughly half the rounds our sources report, those sources make mistakes, and automated reading adds its own. This is research material, not advice — financial, investment, legal or otherwise. Check anything that a decision depends on, and tell us when we are wrong.
The site is provided as it is, without warranty, and we are not liable for what follows from relying on it. Nothing here is an offer or solicitation of any investment.
Quote and cite freely with a link. Do not scrape the site wholesale or republish the database as your own — the work is in the verification, and it is what the subscription pays for. Automated access that degrades the site for other readers may be blocked.
Nothing on this site may be used to build a contact-data product. We deliberately publish none, and reconstructing one from our records is a use we do not permit.
Corrections and removals are free, need no account, and are not conditional on subscribing or claiming anything. This is deliberate: a route to accuracy that costs money is not a route to accuracy.
